Here is a powerful scene I brought in the sermon that the Chosen illustrated so beautifully, click to watch it right HERE
Here also is the string of scriptures that I did at the end of the sermon if you want to explore them more. They are the call for God's people to be a blessing to the world.
Genesis 18:18 – “Abraham will surely become a great and
powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.”
Genesis 26:4 – “I will make your descendants as numerous
as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your
offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,..”
Genesis 28:14 – “Your descendants will be like the dust
of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north
and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.”
But that is the OT, what about the NT?
This is echoed in Galatians
3:7–9, 7 Understand, then, that those
who have faith are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would
justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:
“All nations will be blessed through you.”[a] 9 So those who rely on faith are
blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.…
You see in seeking out our Ones we follow God’s plan to save
all those He loves and calls to follow Him even to the end of time, I’ll jump
to the back of the Bible-listen to this from Revelation 7:9–11…
9 After this I
looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from
every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before
the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their
hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
