I was just alerted (the morning after our prayer meeting) of this head line and news:
Russia's 40-mile convoy has stalled on its way to Kyiv, a
U.S. official says
Logistics problems are stalling a massive Russian convoy
that's pushing its way toward Kyiv, according to a senior U.S. defense
official. The convoy, which has been measured as stretching for 40 miles, is
apparently being hampered by fuel and food shortages…
As night fell on Ukraine on Tuesday, Russia's large convoy
was still about 18 miles north of Kyiv — representing little or no change from
Monday, the official said. The official added that some elements within the
military column are "literally out of gas" and having difficulty
feeding their troops…
Last night we had an individual pray that the trucks would just stop, here is an answer to prayer-PRAISE GOD FOR ANSWERED PRAYER AND THAT WE CAN SEE IT-WOW!
Below is the original call to prayer...
It's hard for me to imagine what it must be like to live in
Ukraine right now. To have your country invaded and be engulfed in so much
uncertainty and violence must be staggering. The images we see in the news
probably aren't even close to capturing the horrors of war that are all around.
As people of faith our first response to such tragedy must
be to pray. I have no doubt many of you have been and will continue to be in
prayer. I am asking that this Wednesday (March 2, 2022) at 7:00 p.m. we gather
together to lift to the Lord this terrible situation and seek His peace, will
and blessing over all those affected.
Sarah Gerber our missions communicator has put together an
excellent guide for our time together in prayer. My hope is that we can gather
and intercede for an hour and then take a break. If the Lord leads us to pray
more so be it.
I hope you will join me for this focused time of prayer that
is desperately needed for our world.
Bless you! Todd Martin
