What's up on Wednesdays at SMC?

 

Every first Wednesday of the month during the school year (September – May) will be known as “Frist Wednesday.” This gathering will be multigenerational with varying activities each month. Everyone is encouraged to come as the planned activities will be designed for all. There will be a meal at every First Wednesday gathering at 6pm and the activities will follow. We desire these times to be filled with connection, fellowship and fun.

 

The third Wednesday will be a time we want to dedicate to focused prayer. Those times will begin at 7pm with a time of worship and then move into prayer. The focus of the night will be as noted below but is subject to change as the Spirit leads. Make some time to Pray Now!

 

Below you will find the dates for the fall First Wednesday and Pray Now gatherings:

 

Sept. 7 – Bonfire and games with hotdogs and smores (Gears for Glory follow up event)

 

Sept. 21-Praying for Prodigals

 

Oct. 5 – BINGO with pizza

 

Oct. 19-Praying under Pressure

 

Nov. 2 – All Saint’s Day Party with sloppy joes

 

Nov. 16-Praying through Pain

 

Dec. 7 – Christmas Party with pizza

Jan. 18    Pray now… for Forgiveness. We all need it and must give it too-but it’s hard. Come and pray God can help us do both!

Feb 1 – Birthday Bash - creatively celebrate your birthday month with other SMCers for fun. SMC wing  6:pm meal 

  Feb. 15    Pray now… against Fear. It’s easy to let fears over take us-but this is when we pray! Gather with others who will help battle against our fears together.

Mar 1 – Dave Smucker Pinewood  Derby-  , for over 50 years SMC has raced these little cars down the track-come for the speed way fun and see who will be the big winner! SMC wing 6:pm meal 

Mar. 15     Pray now…for Family. Nothing can hurt or help us more than family. Come and pray for our families to be full of healing and hope.

 Apr 6 (Thursday) - Night to Remember (special Communion and Footwashing service) -SMC social room 6:pm meal  

 19-Church Clean Up–  This event starts at 6:pm and is when we do to the church building what you do to your home every spring! There will be something for everyone to do and pizza to share as well.
