The war in Ukraine is a clarion call for the church to come together in prayer. Around the world and even the warring countries have churches that are standing up for peace and kneeling down for prayer. We must join then. I mentioned in our congregational prayer time last Sunday this concern:
“We pray that you would bring peace in peaceful ways. We
are aware that every April 1 Russian men between 19 and 20 are conscripted into
the military. This year around 130,000 are to show up for duty-we pray that
they would stay home. We ask that 10s of thousands of young men would be
convicted that this war is wrong and that they will not go and fight. We pray for
the Russian people that they would send a clear and courageous message to
President Putin that this war must end and they will not fight in it! Let you
church rise up in Russia and Ukraine and that your body would not be broken by
this war but rather built up by the power of the Holy Spirit… “
Here is the link to the interview with Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ben
Hodges that inspired this prayer:

If even 10,000 would stay home the General said it would cause an earthquake in the Russian military so your precision prayer is this:
That between now and April 1st the Holy Spirit would convict masses of Russian men to NOT GO to conscription centers to join the army. That they would see the madness of this war and have no part of it. Pray that they would have the courage to not take up arms.
"STOP THE WAR don't believe the propoganda they are lying to you here"
We must pray that
Marina Ovsyannikova and others like her would have the courage to speak
out against the government and be protected from any harm-or have the strength
to face it!
